Michael Farrar, MIM has joined Colliers International Greater Phoenix as a vice president. In his new role, Farrar will focus on residential land acquisitions and dispositions from the firm's Scottsdale office. He will also work with investors and developers in the sale and leasing of office and retail properties.
Farrar brings more than 20 years of experience in commercial real estate
development, entitlements, analysis and feasibility. His experience ranges from single-family lots to large investment tracts, as well as small retail and large office / industrial sites. He previously served as president and designated broker at Coldwell Banker Commercial in the Phoenix region.

Farrar is a councilmember of the Carefree Water Company and serves on its board of directors, as well as serving as a member of the Arizona Rental Housing Association. He holds a double international MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management and the Helsinki School of Economics in Finland, and graduated cum laude from Northern Arizona University's W.A. Franke College of Business with a bachelor's degree in international economics.
