SILICON VALLEY

Kelly Joins NKF as Executive Managing Director

Joe Kelly, SIOR has left CBRE to join the Santa Clara, CA office of Newmark Knight Frank as executive managing director. He will specialize in the agency leasing and sales of office, R&D and industrial space in Silicon Valley.

Kelly spent the last 10 years as a broker in CBRE's Palo Alto office. The former senior vice president was ranked the #1 agent in CBRE Palo Alto, brokering deals for such clients as Blackstone, Clarion Partners, Hudson Pacific Properties, Prologis and Stockbridge Capital Partners.


HOUSTON

Savills Studley Promotes Three in Houston

Savills Studley, a New York City-based commercial real estate services firm specializing in tenant representation, completed a round of promotions in its Houston, TX office.

Mark O'Donnell (pictured, right) will transition to the role of Texas regional manager for the firm. Drew Morris has been promoted to senior vice president and branch manager of Houston. Kyle Kelley has been promoted to executive vice president and will also serve as branch manager along with Curry and Morris.

JLL Taps Zietsman to Fill New Investment Leadership Position

JLL has selected Michael Zietsman to fill a new office investment sales leadership role to bolster the firm's presence in the Texas and Denver regions. The former international director will transition to JLL's Houston office with a focus on accelerating the company's growth.

Zietsman broke into the commercial real estate industry with JLL Los Angeles in 1983 before leaving to serve as managing director of Lehman Brothers' global real estate group and later as president of Zietsman Realty Partners until it was acquired by JLL in 2007.



RICHMOND / HAMPTON ROADS

Thalhimer Realty Partners Appoints Guillot to Principal

Jason Guillot has been named principal at Thalhimer Realty Partners (TRP), a subsidiary of Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer.

Guillot brings more than 10 years of brokerage and development experience, most recently negotiating leases for office and medical property owners as a broker with Thalhimer. In his new role, Guillot will look to drive the expansion of TRP's office, medical and mixed-use portfolio, as well as assist with asset management.

Mardesich Joins George Smith Ptnrs as SVP

George Smith Partners hired industry veteran Alina Mardesich as a senior vice president to continue its expansion in Southern California.

Mardesich brings more than 25 years of commercial real estate finance experience with a focus on loan originations, most recently as a senior advisor with Oaktree Capital Management, where she arranged financing for value-add and transitional assets across the West Coast. Before that, Mardesich held several key positions at Archon Group, Fremont Investment & Loan and U.S. Bank. Throughout her career she has arranged more than $2.5 billion in financing.

Monday Properties Appoints Dreilinger as SVP

Evan Dreilinger has joined Monday Properties as senior vice president and general counsel in New York.

Dreilinger brings more than 18 years of experience in commercial real estate, having completed more than $10 billion in completed transactions across multiple disciplines. Most recently he served as the senior vice president, associate general counsel of Gramercy Property Trust. Before that, Dreilinger was an associate with law firm Proskauer Rose in New York where he represented Boston Properties in their $4 billion acquisition of the General Motors Bldg in 2008.

Marshall Joins 29th Street Capital

Richard Marshall has joined 29th Street Capital as an acquisitions director in the firm's recent expansion into Southern California. In his new role, Marshall will be managing the firm's real estate activity across the region with a focus on multifamily acquisitions and asset management strategies.

Marshall was previously at Sabal Financial Group for the past 14 years, most recently as an asset manager working with distressed debt and distressed real estate properties. Before that he served as a director of land acquisitions for Hanford Hotels and was part of Archstone Apartments post-MBA Management Development Program.



ATLANTA

Savills Studley Names Boyd Director of CSG

Savills Studley has hired Brian Boyd to head up its global consulting services division as director. Based in the firm's Atlanta office, Boyd will work to augment Savills Studley's consulting services business in the region.

Boyd specializes in financial structuring, lease negotiation, transaction management and strategic planning. The 10-year industry veteran most recently served as an associate vice president for Cushman & Wakefield in Atlanta and before that was with TriMont Real Estate Advisors.



DALLAS / FT. WORTH

Stream Realty Promotes Hopkins to Director of PM

Stream Realty Partners has promoted Mica Hopkins to director of property management for Dallas-Fort Worth to oversee the day-to-day operations of the firm's property management platform, which oversees more than 42 million square feet of industrial and office real estate.

Hopkins brings a financial background to the position having previously served as senior vice president of accounting and co-manager of the firm's corporate and project accounting division. Hopkins joined Stream after serving as an auditor at Grant Thornton before joining E2M Partners as an accounting manager.



BOSTON

Beaudry Joins JLL's IPS Group in Boston

JLL bolstered its integrated portfolio services group with the addition of Gabrielle Beaudry as a vice president. In this role, Beaudry will focus on tenant representation of mid-size portfolio companies in greater Boston.

Previously, Beaudry worked at Cresa where she represented tenants in Boston's 128 North market as a member of the company's suburban Boston team. She also managed a territory of approximately $140 million in annual revenue while working as a sales manager at Altria Group.



NORTHERN NEW JERSEY

MAST Construction Promotes Napolitano

MAST Construction Services, Inc., a New Jersey-based owner’s representative and project and construction management services firm, has promoted Jim Napolitano to vice president in the firm's Little Falls, NJ office.

The 20-year industry veteran has worked for MAST Construction for the past 15 years, most recently as a projective executive and before that as a senior project manager. In his new role, Napolitano will oversee the company’s sales, marketing and business development efforts while continuing to serve as a project executive on key projects.



DALLAS / FT. WORTH

JLL Adds Berzina to Tenant Rep Division

David Berzina joined JLL Fort Worth as a vice president. Berzina will specialize in tenant representation in Fort Worth.

Berzina spent more than a decade at the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce as an economic development executive before launching his own economic development consulting firm. In his career, he has overseen more than 26 million square feet of construction, $6.3 billion in capital investment, 35,000 jobs and more than $1.5 billion in annual payroll.
