It's time to update those contact managers with CoStar's People of Note, reporting news on significant new CRE hires and promotions. This week, the following companies announced personnel moves: Jones Lang LaSalle, Cushman & Wakefield, Cresa and Transwestern.

BOSTON
Hughes Joins JLL Boston as Managing Director

Jones Lang LaSalle bolstered its capital markets platform by adding Jessica Hughes as a managing director in Boston. She will partner with Regional Leader Frank Petz and help expand JLL’s New England investment sales team.

Hughes is a global investment sales and financing expert. She was most recently a senior vice president at Beacon Capital Partners, where she oversaw the buying and selling of office buildings in London and across Europe. Hughes closed more than $2.5 billion of purchases in Western Europe and was a member of Beacon Capital’s investment committee.

The 15-year industry veteran began her commercial real estate career as an analyst at JLL in New York and honed her leadership skills with stints at Trammell Crow Co. and Meredith & Grew Inc. in Boston.

CHICAGO
Cushman Names Morris Leader, Industrial Services

Cushman & Wakefield promoted John Morris to leader of industrial services for the Americas. He will take over the position in January of next year.

Morris joined Cushman in 2005 and currently serves as senior managing director of global consulting. He will continue to work out of the Rosemont, IL, office, where he will oversee the industrial brokerage platform.

Morris will take over the lead position from Jim Dieter, who has run the unit for nearly three years, and who will stay on through 2013 to ease the transition process.



NORTHERN NEW JERSEY
Transwestern Taps Previdi to Lead Industrial Group’s Expansion

Alex Previdi joined Transwestern as a managing director in the firm's Parsippany, NJ office. Transwestern plans to use Previdi's expertise to expand its industrial real estate group in the state.

Previdi previously worked at Cassidy Turley in New Jersey, serving as vice president.

Before Cassidy Turley he held positions at Jones Lang LaSalle as vice president, and served as the business administrator for the Borough of Sayreville as well as a policy advisor to the office of the Governor of New Jersey.



NEW YORK CITY
Cresa Recruits Minardi as SVP

Dolores Minardi joined Cresa as a senior vice president in the firm's New York City office. In her new role she will deliver comprehensive market insights as well as provide high-quality services to clients.

Minardi was previously at Colliers International, where she was senior managing director and played a major role in the negotiation of a 106,000-square-foot renewal deal for the Lowes Corporation at 655 Madison Avenue.

The industry veteran has nearly three decades of experience in tenant representation, investment sales and landlord representation and founded her own investment sales firm, specializing in the purchase of property in the outer boroughs and Long Island.


NEW YORK CITY
Transwestern Names Schubert Managing Director

Peter Schubert has joined Transwestern as managing director tasked to develop the firm’s new investment services group in New York City.

Schubert will focus on the sale of multifamily properties while providing services for all property types.

Schubert was previously with The Moinian Group as a managing director. He has also served as senior director with Massey Knakal Realty Services and vice president with Bear Stearns.
