ST. LOUIS

Nolan Joins HOK’s Executive Committee

HOK named Rebecca Nolan to its executive committee. Based in the St. Louis office, she will join five other members on the committee in guiding HOK’s strategic direction and operations as well as continuing to oversee day-to-day operations.

Prior to joining HOK, Nolan was a senior vice president and managing director with SmithGroupJJR. Nolan also worked at Stone Marraccini Patterson, where she was a studio director.

Nolan holds a bachelor’s degree in interior design from the University of Minnesota and completed a leadership training program at Advanced Management Institute in San Francisco.

CHICAGO

DTZ Shakes Up Global Occupier Services Leadership Platform

DTZ, a global property services firm, restructured its global occupier services (GOS) leadership team with the promotion of Quentin Knights to the newly created position of executive vice president of global operations, and Todd Richardson to head of business development for GOS Americas.

Knights is a 25-year commercial real estate veteran who previously held management and executive level positions with CBRE in Paris, New York and San Francisco. He originally joined DTZ in 2006 to supervise global account management functions for U.S. corporate clients. Knights will relocate from Palo Alto, CA to the head office in Chicago.

Richardson has headed up DTZ's facilities management sales and development team in North America - a nearly $1 billion vehicle for DTZ in the Americas - since joining the firm in March 2013. Previously, Richardson drove national business development and marketing with a concentration on large multi-regional, multi-service corporate real estate clients as the senior vice president at ABM Facility Services. He will continue to operate out of the Boston office.

PHOENIX

JLL Adds Regional Director to Boost Industrial Management on West Coast

Mark Stevens has joined JLL as a national director of industrial property management in the West Region, continuing the firm's strategy of growing the industrial property management services it offers.

Stevens will be based in the firm's Phoenix office, responsible for the development of business opportunities in industrial property management across the Western U.S. while partnering with the East Region to grow national opportunities. He becomes the firm's first West-specific industrial property manager.

Stevens has held executive-level positions in industrial acquisitions, asset management and brokerage / leasing functions in Phoenix at Cushman & Wakefield, Cabot Properties, Cabot Industrial Trust, and RREEF. He is a member of NAIOP and ULI.



MINNEAPOLIS

The Opus Group Promotes Larson to Regional Vice President

The Opus Group has promoted Craig Larson to regional vice president of Opus Design Build LLC in Minneapolis, MN. In his new role, Larson will oversee operations and provide leadership to third-party construction projects and developments for the firm's clients.

Larson boasts more than 35 years of design-build and construction management experience at Opus. His recent project list includes the 258,000-square-foot Anderson Student Center at the University of St. Thomas, the 31,000-square-foot expansion and renovation for Visitation School, and the 18,000-square-foot Luther College Aquatic Center.

Larson holds a bachelor's degree in construction engineering from Iowa State University.



NEW YORK CITY

Nero Joins Avison Young in New York City

Jedd Nero joined the Manhattan office of Avison Young as a principal and executive managing director of New York retail services.

This move is part of Avison Young's attempt to expand its retail platform in New York City, and bring more top retail specialists on board. Jedd brings more than 25 years of retail real estate experience with him into his new role.

Prior to joining of Avison Young, Nero served as an executive vice president at CBRE in Manhattan. He also spent time at Newmark New Spectrum Retail LLC as an executive vice president. He most recently helped bring H&M to Fifth Avenue and Chrysler to West 54th Street.



ATLANTA

Avison Young Brings in Two Industry Veterans as Principals

Avison Young hired retail outlet-center specialists Lisa Quier Wagner and David Hinkle as principals in the firm's Atlanta office.

Wagner and Hinkle will focus on outlet-center strategic direction, marketing and management, as well as provide leasing guidance and tenant advisory expertise. Most recently, the pair worked as partners at Outlet Resource Group, a retail consultancy firm which they owned and founded together.

Wagner brings more than 25 years of experience in outlet center marketing, feasibility assessment and strategic development, and oversight of outlet-center performance. Hinkle has 23 years of outlet and retail experience.



SAN DIEGO

Colliers International Expands San Diego Office

Colliers International boosted its professional office staff in San Diego as two new members join the industrial brokerage team, Chris Holder, SIOR and Mark Lewkowitz (pictured, right). The duo join Colliers from Cushman & Wakefield.

Holder was named senior vice president. He has been in the commercial real estate industry for 25 years and has worked with IRE Development, LBA, and Sony, to name a few. Holder is a graduate of San Diego State, where he earned a bachelor's degree in business.

Lewkowitz was appointed associate vice president. He has more than seven years of experience and a client list that includes Westside Building Materials, Amee Bay, and IRE Development. Lewkowitz is a graduate of University of California, San Diego where he earned a bachelor's degree in economics.



CHICAGO

Trammell Crow Promotes Ebert, Carlson

Trammell Crow Co. promoted Jerry Ebert and Johnny Carlson to senior vice presidents of the firm's Midwest business unit.

Ebert will oversee construction and design within Trammell Crow's development and acquisition activity. He will continue leading the management of contractors, architects and engineers.

Carlson will continue to focus on sourcing new opportunities, developing capital relationships and helping manage entitlement development for office, industrial and multifamily projects.



CHICAGO

Bothwell Joins CBRE Capital Markets

Jeffrey Bothwell has joined CBRE's capital markets division as senior vice president. In his new role, Bothwell will specialize in skilled nursing within the national senior housing group.

Bothwell comes to CBRE after a 14-year career at GE Healthcare Financial Services. He is a skilled nursing market veteran, closing more than $8 billion in transactions.

Bothwell received a bachelor's degree from Western Michigan University, and received his MBA from the University of Chicago.



HOUSTON

Trottier Joins Trammell Crow

Craig Trottier has joined Trammell Crow Co. (TCC) as senior vice president in the company's Houston office. Trottier's primary role is to oversee and source retail investment and development opportunities in the Houston area.

Trottier has more than 25 years of commercial real estate experience, with a background that includes due diligence, site selection, design, feasibility analysis, tenant relationship, leasing, management of development teams, and governmental entitlements.

Before joining TCC, Trottier worked as vice president of development for CenterCal Properties in Salt Lake City. He has also operated in several senior development capacities at Lauth Property Group, Land Capital Group and Developers Diversified Realty Corp. In seven Western states, he has overseen development of large retail and mixed-use centers, totaling more than $1.2 billion in value.



PITTSBURGH

Leone Joins JLL as Senior Vice President

JLL has hired Bill Leone as a senior vice president in its Pittsburgh office. In his new role, Leone will strengthen the firm's tenant representation services.

Leone brings more than 30 years of experience in agency leasing, most recently serving as founding principal and managing director at Colliers International. He is recognized as one of the top producers in southwestern Pennsylvania, winning CoStar Power Broker awards and numerous SIOR awards.

Leone holds a bachelor's degree in industrial management and economics from Carnegie Mellon University, and is a member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR), the National Association of Realtors (NAR), and the Pennsylvania Association of Realtors (PAR).

Industrial Specialists Rejoin Colliers Int'l

Jonathan Tesser and Michael Markey have rejoined Colliers International as executive managing directors. The industrial specialists will be based in the Central New Jersey office, focusing on brokerage and advisory services for the sale and leasing of industrial real estate.

As a team, the duo has worked together over the past 26 years representing both tenants and landlords, arranging nearly 50 million square feet of transactions for an extensive client list that includes Johnson & Johnson, Staples, Sports Authority, Bristol Meyers Squibb, BASF, Rema Foods, Graham Packaging, and many more.

Nissim Promoted to Executive Director

Cushman & Wakefield promoted industrial specialist Jules J. Nissim to executive director. Nissim joined Cushman and Wakefield's East Rutherford office in 1990, and has been consistently ranked one of the top 10 industrial producers in the sector.

In his career, Nissim has brokered over 200 million square feet of space and more than $1 billion in value. Specific areas of expertise include sales, sale-leasebacks, and traditional, synthetic and bonded leases.

Prior to his career at Cushman and Wakefield, Nissim held management and sales positions at Handy and Harman, a precious metals firm located in New York City.

Charkham Joins Colliers as Executive Director

Richard Charkham has joined Colliers International as an executive director, continuing the firm's efforts to diversify its New York brokerage team.

Charkham brings more than 19 years of legal and real estate experience advising tenants, particularly American subsidiaries of Israeli and British companies, on their real estate strategies including the acquisition and disposition of office space.

Charkham has completed transactions in multiple markets around the world, including the US headquarters of The Economist Newspaper Group, Institutional Investor, Sentinel Real Estate, CFO Publishing, Human Rights First, Amdocs, NICE Systems, and Comverse.



BOSTON

CBRE Capital Markets Hires Wendel

CBRE Capital Markets' multifamily division has expanded its FHA lending platform with the addition of Steve Wendel as FHA lending head of production.

Wendel will work with CBRE's FHA originators and the wide range of CBRE's multifamily debt producers to originate FHA loans. He has nearly 30 years of experience in the commercial real estate investment field.

Receiving a bachelor's degree from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from New York University, Wendel comes to CBRE from Berkeley Point Capital, where he was executive managing director, leading the FHA, seniors and student housing programs.



SAN DIEGO

Colliers Taps Three as Vice Presidents
