commercial real estate veteran will help lead the company’s Northern California operations.
Churton specializes in representing both tenants and
office space owners in the San Francisco Bay Area. He previously worked at CBRE as a managing director. Churton advises national and regional law firms and global financial services and insurance firms.

Fellabom Joins Avison Young as SVP

Leslie Fellabom has joined Avison Young as senior vice president in the firm's Mount Pleasant, SC, office.
Formerly with Southwind Commercial Real Estate, she brings 30 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. Fellabom will specialize in office and investment brokerage representing landlords, tenants, and investors in negotiations, consulting, and financial analysis in her new role.
She is a recipient of the 2012 Zucker Family Champions for Education Award and a 2012 National Commercial Award by the National Association of REALTORS .

Lee & Associates Opens Valuation Service Line in Chicago

Lee & Associates launched a new valuation and consulting services office in Chicago. Appraisal industry veterans Christopher B. Myers, MAI and Nicholas Cipriano will head the practice. Myers will serve as managing director and Cipriano as appraiser.
Myers will oversee production, operations and management for the market. He has 25 years of industry experience in the appraisal and valuation of special use properties and has been recognized as an expert witness before the State of Illinois Property Tax Appeal Board. Before Lee, Myers worked at Argianas & Associates, the retail properties group of Koeppel Tener Real Estate Services Inc. and the national hospitality group of CBRE.
Cipriano has more than a decade of knowledge as a certified general appraiser. He also focuses on special use properties and previously worked at Argianas & Associates.

Kohn To Lead Capital Markets Efforts at Akridge

Rob Kohn joined Akridge as a senior vice president of capital markets. Kohn will create and maintain relationships with various institutional investors for the Washington, DC-based real estate investment firm.
He has 11 years of finance and commercial real estate experience. Kohn was previously at Park Madison Partners acting as partner for the New York-based real estate firm. He was also a partner with Quince Hill Partners prior to working for Park Madison.

Studley Adds Senior Managing Dir. to Chicago Team

Bruce McConnell joined Studley’s Chicago office as a senior managing director. He will lead the firm’s Midwest industrial practice and manage transaction development, client relationships and recruitment.
McConnell previously served 18 years at CBRE, most recently as a managing director, first vice president with CBRE’s Global Corporate Services Group.
A 25-year industry veteran, he has worked with numerous national and international clients, including Ford, Boeing and Sara Lee.

Legend Retail Names President of New Urban Division

Denver-based Legend Retail Group hired Kelly Greene as president of Urban Legend, a new division of the brokerage. The Urban Legend group will focus primarily on expanding Colorado's urban retail market.
Greene has worked on many projects throughout the state including Larimer Square, 1600 Glenarm, Sugar Cube, Clayton Lane and University Hills Plaza, advising many high profile tenants during his more than 28 years in the industry.

Cantor CRE Hires Milner to Head Investment Mgmt.

Chris A. Milner has joined Cantor Commercial Real Estate in Manhattan as a managing director and head of investment management.
With 20 plus years of experience in commercial real estate, Milner spent 14 years at BlackRock where he was a co-founder and global head of that firm's commercial real estate debt business and president of its Carbon Capital series of private real estate debt funds.
Prior to that, Milner held several positions at PNC Real Estate Capital Markets, where he co-founded the CMBS program and was responsible for origination, underwriting and securitization of all commercial mortgage conduit production, as well as resolving distressed commercial real estate loans.

Fox Named Senior Managing Director at NGKF

Newmark Grubb Knight Frank has hired Frank Fox as a senior managing director of its Philadelphia industrial team. Fox brings nearly 30 years of experience to NGKF's King of Prussia, PA, office.
Formerly president of Fox Commercial Real Estate Services, a firm he founded, Fox also served as a consultant in Hercules, CA where he was responsible for the disposition of a $250-million redevelopment portfolio.
