DMB Promotes Herrington to President & CEO

DMB Associates, Inc. has named Brent Herrington its new president and CEO.

Herrington has been with the Scottsdale, AZ-based firm since 1998, playing a role in some of the company’s largest projects. Most recently serving as an executive vice president specializing in real estate development, planning, design and development, he brings a wealth of experience in the commercial real estate industry to his new role. He is a member of ULI, where he served as chairman for the community development council.



LOS ANGELES

Marcus & Millichap Taps Nadji as President, CEO

Marcus & Millichap has named Hessam Nadji as its new president and CEO, succeeding current CEO John Kerin (pictured, right) when he retires this month.

Nadji has been a key leader for Marcus & Millichap for more than 20 years, instrumental in developing the Calabasas, CA-based company's strategies and growth plans, particularly in expanding its specialty brokerage divisions. The M&M board of directors appointed Nadji to senior executive vice president in May 2015 after naming him chief strategy officer in 2013. Nadji was senior vice president at Grubb & Ellis prior to joining Marcus & Millichap in 1997.

WASHINGTON DC

Cresa Names Former Cushman Exec Underhill as CEO

Tenant representation specialist Cresa has appointed James M. Underhill (pictured, right) as chief executive officer, replacing Richard M. Rhodes who had served in the role since last year.

Underhill will focus on the firm’s growth in domestic and global markets, with an ambitious objective of doubling Cresa’s staff and revenue within five years. Last September Cresa named Underhill, who served as CEO of the Americas for Cushman & Wakefield, as a strategic adviser to Cresa's board of directors. At the beginning of June the company announced that its board of directors elected Rhodes as CEO, and Matthew Feeney as chairman, where he remains.



EAST BAY

KTGY Group Adds Williams as Board Chair

KTGY Architecture + Planning has promoted Jill Williams, AIA to chairwoman of the board. Replacing Stan Braden when he steps down as chairman, Williams will take an active role in client relationships, building quality teams, and providing overall project direction from design conception to construction.

Williams has been with the full-service construction firm for 27 years, bringing her experience of mixed-use architecture. After starting with the firm in Irvine, she built the Oakland studio in 2001 and will continue serving as a managing principal there.

Missner Group Names Nomellini COO

The Missner Group has selected Bob Nomellini to oversee day-to-day operations of the company's construction business as its new COO. In his new role, Nomellini will oversee all aspects of the company's construction projects from strategic planning to closeouts.

Nomellini brings 40 years of experience within the industry with his background as a tradesman, general contractor and entrepreneur. Beginning his career with contracting in residential, he moved on to commercial and created industrial, retail and medical spaces throughout Chicago and founded his own general contracting firm, Insite Construction.



HOUSTON

Leighton Promoted to Executive Managing Director

Transwestern's Houston office has promoted Justin Leighton to executive managing director. Leighton joined Transwestern in 2013 as leader of the Houston tenant advisory services team, which completed 1.17 million square feet of leases globally.

As head of the tenant advisory services platform in Houston, Leighton is responsible for managing and implementing tenant advisory initiatives. He also serves as a tenant broker, and in 2014 was the top tenant advisory services producer for the firm nationally.
