JLL Promotes 34 International Directors

JLL (NYSE: JLL) has promoted 34 colleagues across the globe to the firm's top leadership group, naming them International Directors for 2014.

"As a group, the International Directors reinforce and reflect our global presence and our position as industry leader," said Colin Dyer, CEO of JLL, commending the group on their accomplishments.

JLL and LaSalle Investment Management are recognizing these 34 professionals for their work with clients, their roles in growing the company, and their consistent teamwork and collaboration. In the U.S. that includes: Linda Bolan, Atlanta; Ben Breslau, Boston; Jim Dobleske, Charlotte; Paul Glickman, New York; Steve Inglis, Atlanta; Robert Kossar, New Jersey; Tom Melody, Houston; Peter Nicoletti, New York; Janice Ochenkowski, Chicago; William Reeves, Charlotte; Stephen Smith, Chicago; and Eddy Wagoner, Chicago.

KANSAS CITY

Nash Joins Newmark Grubb Zimmer

Newmark Grubb Zimmer appointed Troy Nash to principal and vice president of the firm's public sector consulting practice.

Nash will help the Kansas City firm broaden its ownership ranks as it continues its strategic growth strategy. He boasts more than 15 years of real estate and economic development experience after serving as chairman of the influential planning, zoning, and economic development committee.

Nash holds two Master's Degrees in political science and economics from the University of Missouri - Kansas City, a Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Law, and an MBA from the Bloch School of Management, and is working towards a doctorate in education from St. Louis University. Nash earned his bachelor's degree from Wesley College while serving in the United States Air Force.

CHICAGO

Rogers Joins JLL's Suburban Representation Team

Local commercial real estate industry expert Kevin Rogers joined JLL's suburban Chicago tenant representation team as an executive vice president.

Rogers has spent the last 15 years specializing in office tenant representation in the Chicago suburbs as a member of CBRE’s Oak Brook office.

Rogers will partner with Managing Director Andrea Van Gelder and Senior Associate Kellen Monti. They will focus on the East-West Corridor in DuPage County.



CLEVELAND

Chess Joins Ostendorf-Morris

Andrew Chess joined Ostendorf-Morris Co. in Cleveland as a senior vice president.

Chess has been in the real estate industry for more than 22 years, and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his new position. He specializes in site and property acquisition, land acquisition, landlord representation, and tenant representation. Past clients include Dunkin Donuts, Randstad, and Sunoco.

Prior to joining Ostendorf-Morris, Chess worked for Lawrence Diversified Cleveland Retail Group and Colliers International. Chess is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).



SAN FRANCISCO

Ramani Joins Colliers International

Navin Ramani joined Colliers International in San Francisco as a senior vice president of the advisory services group.

Ramani's services range from real estate strategy consulting to project and development services. He is experienced in complex tenant improvements to ground up shell and core office buildings.

Prior to joining Colliers, Ramani led the project group for Cresa, managing multiple client relationships and several tenant improvement projects. He also has held key leadership roles for both Real Estate Service Providers and General Contractors. He has been involved in managing 10 million square feet of construction from both a program and project management standpoint exceeding $1 billion.



BOSTON

Brown Joins JLL's Capital Markets Team

JLL appointed Heather Brown to its capital markets team in Boston as a senior vice president, where she will partner with Jonathan Schneider under the direction of managing director Frank Petz.

Previously, Brown served as a director at GE Capital Real Estate in New York City, where she worked on the Northeast-focused institutional accounts team. She has originated more than $2 billion in senior and subordinate structured debt and CMBS financings during her career.

In her new role, Brown will focus on structuring, negotiating and originating debt financing for commercial property.



ATLANTA

DeMyer Joins Colliers International

Colliers International added Scott DeMyer as the new senior vice president in its landlord services group.

In his new role, DeMyer will focus on leasing high-profile properties in the Atlanta market. He will begin working on The Carriage Works, a three-building, 145,000-square-foot loft office property in Midtown West listed on the National Register of Historic Places. DeMyer will also focus on leasing the 200 Ashford Center North in the Central Perimeter office market and on town properties in Buckhead.

DeMyer worked as vice president of office leasing from 2006 to 2013 for Resource Real Estate Partners, which was acquired by CBRE. He left CBRE as a senior associate, and before that served as vice president at Stafford Properties.



WASHINGTON DC

Cassidy Turley Names SVP

Cassidy Turley expanded its executive platform with the addition of Marc Fischer as a senior vice president in the firm's Washington, D.C. headquarters.

Fischer's new position entails serving in a leadership role for the Mid-Atlantic region and advocating best practices and quality assurance across Cassidy Turley's managed portfolio.

A 25-year industry veteran, Fischer spent the last 23 years with Transwestern, most recently serving as senior vice president of management services. While with Transwestern, Fischer oversaw a 16 million-square-foot regional management portfolio comprised of office, industrial and retail space.

DTZ Expands Brokerage Platform

DTZ, a global property services firm and the largest provider of facility management services in New England, named Doug Adamian as its senior vice president in brokerage.

Adamian most recently served as a senior managing director with Newmark Grubb Knight Frank. He has also worked in a senior-level advisory capacity for GVA Thompson Hennessey & Partners and Grubb & Ellis, both of which merged with Newmark Grubb Knight Frank.

In a career that has spanned more than 20 years, Adamian has transacted more than 500 real estate transactions involving such companies as Firestone Financial, SAI Global, Viewpoint Creative, Polaroid, Bessemer, Walgreens, PointRight, Santander and National Center on Time and Learning.



SAN FRANCISCO

Columbia Property Trust Makes Executive Appointment

Atlanta-based Columbia Property Trust (NYSE: CXP) named David Dowdney as its senior vice president of the Western region. In his new role, Dowdney will establish a regional office in San Francisco and supervise all of CXP's transaction and investment management endeavors in the western United States.

A 20-year industry veteran, Dowdney spent the last five years as the western regional manager of asset management for GE Capital Real Estate, where he led a 20-person team in overseeing all leasing, asset management, and capital markets activities for the firm's 15 million-square-foot office and R&D portfolio. He served as a vice president of corporate services for JLL and later as a vice president of portfolio management for Divco West Properties.

Dowdney earned a bachelor's degree from UCLA and an MBA in finance and real estate from the University of California, Berkeley.
