DTZ Expands Global Services with Four New Executive Hires

DTZ, a UGL Company and leading global services firm, has expanded its Global Corporate Services (GCS) Americas Group with four new hires in California.

  • Antonia Cardone (pictured, top left) will head the group's West Coast workplace strategy team, based in San Francisco...
  • Taj Sharma was named GCS vice president, located in the firm's Palo Alto, CA office...
  • Roberta Guerrero was appointed vice president of project management services, working in DTZ's downtown Los Angeles headquarters...
  • Luke Eskigian joined GCS as a vice president of project management services, based in West Los Angeles...

    Three Multifamily Experts Join CBRE

    CBRE named Michael Thomas as a vice president, and Toby Costello and Keith Manson have joined the firm as senior associates as part of CBRE’s Private Capital and Multi-Housing groups.

    The three leading multifamily sales professionals come to CBRE from Wheelhouse Brokerage, where they have established a strong reputation in the multifamily industry. Thomas and Costello will be based in CBRE’s San Francisco Downtown office, and Manson will work out of the Oakland office.

    Thomas has 11 years of experience, previously serving as president at Wheelhouse Brokerage, having founded the firm and buildings its brand and infrastructure. Costello and Manson are both brokers with a focus on multifamily in the Bay area.


    CBC Alliance Promotes Pressler

    CBC Alliance has promoted Steve Pressler to principal of its newly launched asset management division in the firm's New York City office.

    Pressler joined CBC Alliance from Promenade Real Estate Corporation, where he was a co-founder and senior managing director. He has handled transactions for landlords such as Blackstone, DZ Bank, Jeff Sutton, and SL Green Realty Corp., and specializes in complex deals including the recent sale/leaseback of 609 Fifth Avenue.


    JLL Expands Northern CA Leasing Department

    Mark Bodie has moved from LBA Realty to Jones Lang LaSalle and has been appointed senior vice president in the firm's Palo Alto office.

    During his five years at LBA Realty, Bodie was instrumental in leasing more than 2 million square feet of space. Prior to that he was an asset manager at Prudential Real Estate Investors.

    Bodie graduated from the University of San Diego with a bachelor's degree in International Relations. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP).


    Murray Hill Properties Promotes Three Brokers to Partner

    Murray Hill Properties has promoted three top brokers within the firm's New York City office to partners in its brokerage division.

    Roxana Girand joined MHP in 2001, previously with Teligent and Citi Habitats. She has represented more than 3.7 million square feet in New York City over her 17-year career.

    Jesse Rubens joined MHP in 2002 and has handled transactions for clients including PCFG Advisory Group, Premiere Home Healthcare Services, and McRobert's Agency, Inc.

    Rick Doolittle (pictured, right) joined MHP in 2002 from Newmark & Company Real Estate, and has completed leases aggregating more than $500 million.


    Colliers International Welcomes Summers

    Keith Summers, CCIM has joined Colliers International as a vice president in Vienna, VA. In his new role, Summers will be specializing in tenant and landlord representation in the Northern Virginia suburban office market.

    Previously with PS Business Parks, a public REIT, Summers was responsible for leasing more than 29 million square feet in its national portfolio. Before that he served as a vice president at the former Grubb & Ellis Company in Tysons Corner.

    Summers currently serves on the Commercial Real Estate Development Association's (NAIOP) executive committee, board of directors, and is chair of the education program committee.


    Rosemont Realty Expands Portfolio Leasing Team

    Rosemont Realty has appointed Michele Ellis-Felder (pictured, right) as managing director of leasing for the greater Houston market. The Santa Fe-based firm also promoted Carrie Powledge to director of leasing.

    Ellis-Felder, a former senior vice president with Transwestern, currently serves as president of the Houston chapter of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) and brings more than 25 years of commercial real estate experience to Rosemont.

    Powledge has served with Rosemont Realty for 13 years and will work with Ellis-Felder to manage the leasing performance of Rosemont's Houston properties. She is a licensed Texas real estate salesperson and an active member in the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) and the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM.)


    Cushman & Wakefield Bolsters Tenant Rep Team With New Hires

    Cushman & Wakefield boosted its corporate services and office brokerage teams with new hires in its Atlanta office.

    The firm has hired Tyler Courtney as director of corporate services in the firm's Office Tenant Representation division. Courtney, who is currently enrolled in the MBA program at Emory University, previously was associate vice president at DTZ, a Chicago-based brokerage firm. Courtney has closed numerous leasing transactions, including deals for Humana, Farmers Insurance, Zurich Insurance, Alcatel Lucent, Electrolux and the State of Georgia.

    The firm also hired Lawrence Gellerstedt as a tenant representation broker. Gellerstedt earned an MBA at Emory University and has won several real estate awards such as the 2013 Academic Achievement Award for Real Estate and the 2013 NAIOP School Challenge. While acquiring this degree Gellerstedt completed an internship at Cushman & Wakefield.
