Grimes Joins Coldwell Banker Commercial Sudweeks Group

Anni Grimes has joined Coldwell Banker Commercial Sudweeks Group as a partner and multifamily property specialist in the firm's San Diego office.

Grimes will enhance the multifamily property sales capabilities of the CBC Sudweeks Group. She is widely recognized in the San Diego's commercial real estate market as a coastal region specialist.

Grimes brings more than 10 years of commercial real estate experience. She was previously with Sperry Van Ness, where she completed more than $30 million in gross sales in 2013 alone. Before that she worked with real estate transactions and negotiations at a Los Angeles law firm, and as an investment property manager in Beverly Hills.


Jablonski Joins Cushman & Wakefield

Anne Jablonski has joined Cushman & Wakefield as executive managing director of global business development strategies for its valuation and advisory group.

In this role, Jablonski will be responsible for creating new global business strategies and expanding relationships with the firm's traditional appraisal clients. She will also play an integral role working with the valuations and advisory group's leadership team in broadening the execution platform to help align the firm's premier asset class expertise with the firm's global relationships.

Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Jablonski held a leadership role within the New York office of Situs, where she was actively involved in building and supervising the firms due diligence, underwriting, and consulting services platform for major investment banking clients.

Picoli, Farrell Join Avison Young

Avison Young has hired William Picoli and John T. Farrell as senior vice presidents focused on the expansion of the firm’s valuation advisory services platform. Picoli and Farrell will work closely with Arthur Mirante, president and Steven Kurtz, principal.

Both Picoli and Farrell will be coming from Landauer Valuation & Advisory, a division of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank. Picoli and Farrell intend to focus on delivering a full range of valuation and advisory services to clients including portfolio analysis and cost-segregation studies, periodic valuations, litigation and arbitration support, as well as mergers and dissolutions.


Colliers International Expands Office Division

Colliers International in Philadelphia has welcomed William G. Luff, Jr. as a senior vice president. In his new role, Luff will head the firm's Philadelphia CBD office market.

Previously with Cushman & Wakefield, Luff was the senior executive overseeing the Mid-Atlantic Region. He was with Cushman & Wakefield for 18 years before that. More recently, he worked with the international real estate firm Trammel Crow, where he oversaw the company’s expansion in the Philadelphia market. Luff also served as an executive vice president and managing director at JLL.


Investment Properties Taps Carbonell as SVP

George Carbonell has been hired by Rockville, MD-based Investment Properties as its senior vice president and director of sales and leasing.

Carbonell brings more than 30 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. Prior to joining Investment Properties, he served as senior vice president at Transwestern’s Maryland office.

In his new role, Carbonell will be responsible for overseeing Investment Properties’ portfolio of real estate as well as identifying opportunities for the firm’s third party brokerage business for both tenant and landlord representation.


Hamilton Joins Stream Realty

Dorothy Hamilton has joined Stream Realty Partners as senior vice president of property management.

Hamilton will assist the company in managing its current properties and growing its management portfolio throughout the Washington, D.C.-metropolitan area. She will report directly to Stream Realty partner Kyle Luby.

Prior to joining Stream Realty, Hamilton worked at Cassidy Turley for seven years, where she managed more than two million square feet of Class A office space in Washington, D.C. Her past work also includes time spent with Trammell Crow Co. and several years with Standard Life in the United Kingdom.


ValueRock Expands Investment, Development Teams

ValueRock Realty Partners, a vertically-integrated real estate investment and operating company, has grown its investment and development teams with the addition of three new hires in Orange County.

    NAI Summit Names New VP

    NAI Summit has promoted Jack McNulty to vice president of management services in its Allentown office in the Greater Lehigh Valley.

    McNulty, who joined NAI Summit in 1996, has more than 30 years of experience. In his new role, McNulty will oversee the building services and property management departments, and will also be responsible for capital projects, tenant relations, third-party contracting, budget forecasting, and daily management.

    McNulty is a graduate of Michigan State School of Management and Business Administration, and holds the RPA designation with the Building Owner and Management Association (BOMA).


    Lurie Named Vice President at Coretrust Capital Ptnrs

    Adam Lurie was appointed vice president of Coretrust Capital Partners. Lurie’s main responsibility will be to be the lead on acquisitions, financing, underwriting and other activities to support the Los Angeles- based company’s growing portfolio.

    Lurie, who formerly served vice president of Bank of America, brings his experience and knowledge in real estate asset price and tactical analysis of loss mitigation strategies. He also previously served as senior finance and operations manager for Green Dot Public Schools.

    Lurie graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University and earned his MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management. He also served as an intern with Goldman Sachs and Merrill Lynch, before starting his career at The Northern Trust Company.


    MacKenzie Commercial Promotes Mullen

    MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate promoted Justin T. Mullen to vice president in its Annapolis, MD office.

    Mullen specializes in the sale and leasing of commercial real estate in the Baltimore/Washington Corridor and the Annapolis and Bowie markets.

    In 2013, Mullen completed approximately $14 million in leasing transactions totaling more than 82,000 square feet.

    Mullen is a graduate of the University of Virginia.


    Mayeske Relocates to Cushman & Wakefield Atlanta

    Jon Mayeske will relocate from Cushman & Wakefield's headquarters in New York to direct brokerage services in the Atlanta office. In his new position, Mayeske will manage office tenant consulting and brokerage services for private and non-profit office clients.

    For the past eight years, Mayeske has served as the director in tenant advisory in the New York office and worked with both domestic and international tenants. Some of his recent deals include a 101,600-square-foot lease with Internap Network Services Corp.; an 84,981-square-foot lease with MBIA Inc.; a 28,681-square-foot lease with Seamless North America LLC (now GrubHub Inc.); a 21,100-square-foot lease with xAd, Inc.; a 35,000-square-foot lease with Lacoste USA; and a 48,614-square-foot lease with Penn Mutual.
