Von Ancken Named Chairman of NGKF Appraisal Division

Newmark Grubb Knight Frank named Robert Von Ancken as chairman of its Landauer Appraisal Services.
As chairman, he will concentrate on future expansion, using the strength and breadth of BGC Partners’ proprietary technology platform, its team of real estate debt and equity experts, and its powerful market data to provide quality market knowledge and enhanced valuation and consulting services across all practice group areas.
Von Ancken has more than 40 years of industry experience. He has appraised more than 10,000 properties including landmarks such as the Empire State Building, the Chrysler Building, Rockefeller Center, and the World Trade Center. Von Ancken is a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and is considered one of the nation’s top experts on air rights.

Coradino Named CEO of Pennsylvania REIT

Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust promoted Joseph Coradino to chief executive officer at the company’s 2012 annual meeting of shareholders.
Coradino has several years of management with PREIT, and has played a vital role in the development of the company’s visions.
At the same shareholders meeting, it was announced that the former CEO Ronald Rubin was promoted to executive chairman.
Avison Young Taps Morgan as Principal

Steve Morgan joined Avison Young in Atlanta as a principal. He will focus on office sales, leasing and investments and will also provide multi-market advisory for corporate/international clients.
Morgan has nearly 30 years of experience. His previous role was as a senior vice president and associate broker at Grubb & Ellis. Morgan also owned and operated Morgan Realty Advisors, and held leadership roles at CSFB Realty Corp. and Coca-Cola Co.
Owens Joins MJ Partners Capital Services

Greg W. Owens joined MJ Partners Real Estate Services as a senior vice president of MJ Partners Capital Services.
Owens, who has a decade of industry experience, will specialize in debt, equity and mezzanine financing with commercial real estate owners, as well as commercial developers.
He previously served as a loan originator and senior asset manager at Citibank Commercial Real Estate Finance.

Eyzenberg Joins Avison Young

Avison Young named David Eyzenberg as principal in its New York City office. His new responsibilities will include raising capital and providing investment banking services to Avison Young's commercial real estate clients nationwide.
Prior to joining Avison Young, Eyzenberg served as managing director and head of commercial real estate with NewOak Capital, where he handled multiple property financing and commercial mortgage-backed securities/commercial real estate collateralized debt obligation valuation assignments. Eyzenberg has also worked with Ramius Capital Group and Merrill Lynch.
