It's time to update those contact managers with CoStar's People of Note, reporting news on significant new CRE hires and promotions. Wainwright Joins KBS

Shep Wainwright has joined KBS Capital Advisors as a senior vice president. In his new role, Wainright will identify acquisitions on behalf of KBS Strategic Opportunity REIT in the Northeast while assisting with asset management assignments nationwide as well as acquiring and managing debt for the firm.

Previously a managing director for Savanna Real Estate Fund II LP, a Northeast-focused opportunity fund where he spent seven years, Wainwright also co-founded the restaurant chain Cosi, Inc., developing it into a nationally-recognized brand with 90 restaurants in 11 states through his work with the real estate development and leasing side of the business until taking the company public as COO in 2002.

Wainwright graduated cum laude from Hamilton College in Clinton, NY. He will be based in KBS Capital Advisors' Newport Beach, CA office, separate and distinct from the KBS Realty Advisors team.

Nagle, Wigal Rejoin Cushman & Wakefield

Brian Nagle and Jerrod Wigal rejoined Cushman & Wakefield as executive vice president and director, respectively. Both Nagle and Wigal will focus on office property investment sales throughout the Midwest Region.

Nagle and Wigal have a combined 40 years of experience with CBD and suburban office investments for institutional and private clients. Nagle and Wigal rejoined Cushman & Wakefield from Colliers International, where they had both been since 2010. Before that, Nagle spent 20 years at Cushman & Wakefield as executive director of capital markets, with Wigal working beside Nagle for seven of those years.


CARMEN Expands Indianapolis Team

CARMEN Commercial Real Estate Services, which specializes in tenant-only representation in the office and industrial sectors, has expanded its Indianapolis team with the hiring of Kimberly Hill as executive vice president, and Angie Jakad (pictured, right) to its corporate services team.

In her new role, Hill will focus on business development and client services. She brings more than 14 years of experience in commercial banking and managing technology start-ups. Hill currently serves on the board of the Westfield Youth Assistance Program (WYAP).

Jakad joins the firm as a corporate service specialist, focusing on relocation project management and FF&E procurement. She previously operated her own design business in Indianapolis with a focus on project management, delivery of services and client satisfaction.


Camera Promoted at Lee & Associates

Lee & Associates has promoted Dale Camera to senior vice president in its Irvine, CA office, recognizing his experience in landlord and tenant representation focusing on industrial, R&D and office properties in the Orange County market.

Camera joined Lee & Associates in 2001 and has worked with major developers on design, construction, marketing and disposition of developments in Orange County. He recently represented Emery Investments in the sale of 1900 Carnegie, and TA Realty in the disposition of Mission Viejo Commerce Park.

Camera attended Central Connecticut State University, and currently serves as a board member on Lee & Associates - Irvine Ethics Committee. He is also an active mentor for Big Brothers and Big Sisters of OC.


L&L Appoints Three VPs for Growing Development Portfolio

L&L Holding Company LLC, a Manhattan-based, privately-owned commercial real estate investment firm with a portfolio exceeding 6 million square feet of office space, has hired three new vice presidents of development: Scott Lakow, Jonathan Ninnis and Jeffrey Davis (pictured, right).

Lakow will be responsible for repositioning 114 Fifth Ave. He previously served as project executive for Atlantic Development, and managed several revitalization projects for retail and corporate interiors throughout metro New York.

Ninnis will manage several of L&L's major initiatives including 222 Broadway and 195 Broadway. He previously served as senior project manager at VVA, completing projects across the real estate spectrum after beginning his career at Cushman & Wakefield.

Davis will lead the redevelopment at 380 Madison Ave. He served as director of project management at Gardiner & Theobald, where he managed $4 billion in large scale projects domestically and internationally including prominent Manhattan assets.


Lynch Joins Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer

Allan Lynch has joined the Raleigh office of Cushman & Wakefield l Thalhimer as a vice president in the Capital Markets Group. In his new role, Lynch will be tasked with expanding the firm's multifamily property advisory business in the Carolinas.

Lynch was previously at Engler Financial Group of Atlanta, handling investment and equity deals. He also spent three years working at Trammell Crow Co.'s corporate advisory services.

Lynch graduated with a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of North Carolina. He will be based in the firm's Raleigh, North Carolina office.


Rich Joins Scheer Partners

Marek Rich joined Scheer Partners as a vice president. In his new role, Rich will focus on leasing and trading flex and warehouse space for Scheer’s industrial real estate clients in the Washington / Baltimore corridor.

Previously an assistant vice president with HBW Group, Rich has a total of 15 years in the commercial real estate industry, beginning as a leasing associate with Transwestern, with a focus on leasing and sales of warehouse and flex properties.

Rich will be based in the firm's Rockville, MD office.
