SEATTLE

Taylor Named Global COO at Colliers Int'l

Colliers International and FirstService Corporation (NASDAQ: FSRV) have promoted Dylan Taylor to Chief Operating Officer | Global. In his new position, Taylor will oversee the operations of more than 15,000 professionals in 485 offices across 63 countries, with a focus on integrating operations across all service lines and enhancing client engagement.

Taylor joined Colliers International in June 2009 as CEO | USA, increasing revenues and profits during his tenure. In 2012, Taylor was named CEO | Americas, responsible for operations integration, leveraging best practices, and increasing collaboration and achieving efficiencies and scalability across the region.

"Dylan will not only be able to support the Americas in his new role, he will also facilitate growth and innovation throughout our global operations including the EMEA, Asia Pacific and Australia/New Zealand. There is no doubt that his leadership, vision and dedication to operational excellence has brought enormous value to our company," said Douglas P. Fyre, president and CEO | Global.

CHICAGO

Long Promoted to President of Apartments.com

CoStar Group has promoted Brad Long to president of Apartments.com, its online apartment rental marketplace.

Long has been with Apartments.com since 2006, having served most recently as vice president of sales. As president, he will focus on enhancing the user experience on Apartments.com, generating increased exposure to deliver more qualified leads to customers, and ensuring that Apartments.com is the most well-known and preferred brand in the multifamily housing industry. He succeeds Dick Burke, who is leaving the company to pursue other opportunities.

"Apartments.com has a tremendous opportunity to leverage CoStar's extensive multifamily database and online marketplace expertise to enhance both our customer and consumer experience," said Long. "With CoStar, we have the ability to provide more real estate solutions to our customers that own or manage multifamily properties."

HOUSTON

Hines Names Global REIT CIO

Houston-based Hines has tapped David Steinbach as the chief investment officer of Hines Global REIT.

Steinbach has been with Hines since 1999, serving in a multitude of capacities that involve acquisitions, asset management and property dispositions on behalf of Hines Real Estate Investment Trust, Inc., Hines Global REIT and Hines US Core Office Fund LP, both in the U.S. and internationally.

"David has been an integral part of the Hines Global REIT management team since its inception and is well-suited to lead our investment activities going forward," said Sherri Schugart, president and CEO of Hines Global REIT.



CHICAGO

GlenStar Brings On Rogalla as Principal

GlenStar Properties, a Chicago-based commercial real estate investment and development firm, added Bill Rogalla as a principal in the firm's head office.

Rogalla comes to GlenStar with more than 30 years of experience in national acquisitions, dispositions and development. His experience will be valuable as GlenStar seeks to expand into more regional markets, including the Southeast and the Southwest, while at the same time breaking into Chicago's industrial market.

Previously, Rogalla served as the president of Chicago-based Origin Capital Partners and vice president of acquisitions/dispositions in the Central U.S. at KBS, where he established the Chicago office for the Newport Beach, CA-based firm.

RKF Promotes Senior Brokerage Professionals

RKF, a leading independent real estate firm in retail leasing, investment sales and consulting services, announced several promotions in its New York City headquarters office.

Seasoned veteran Jeremy Ezra has been promoted from vice president to executive vice president. Greg Covey, Caleb Peterson, and Mark Finkel were promoted from managing director to vice president. Brian Segall has been promoted from senior director to managing director, and Ross Berkowitz has been promoted from director to senior director.

    WASHINGTON DC

    Ezra Co Hires Weaver

    Tina Weaver joined the Ezra Co., a Washington, D.C.-based commercial real estate firm specializing in tenant representation, as a senior vice president. In her new role, Weaver will focus on developing new business with Ezra’s professional services group.

    Weaver has handled more than $500 million worth of commercial transactions throughout her career. She most recently served as senior vice president of CBRE’s D.C. office, where she spent 14 years.

    Weaver is a licensed broker in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia. She actively participates in the Commercial Real Estate Brokerage Association of Greater Washington, D.C. where she has been awarded the multi-million dollar designation.



    LOS ANGELES

    Goldstein Joins Avison Young

    Gail Goldstein has joined the West Los Angeles office of Avison Young as a senior vice president. Goldstein will continue to specialize in agency leasing by leveraging her extensive tenant relationships in Southern California.

    In her new role, Goldstein will also collaborate with Avison Young's asset services and leasing teams, as well as their clients.

    Goldstein has 25 years of commercial real estate experience, which started at Heitman Properties where she served as senior leasing manager. Most recently she served as the regional leasing director for Equity Office Properties, where she managed a 2.5 million-square foot portfolio of office and retail buildings throughout Los Angeles and Santa Monica.



    SAN FRANCISCO

    SRS Promotes Tinetti to SVP

    SRS Real Estate Partners promoted Laura Tinetti to senior vice president and SRS urban specialist in the firm's San Francisco office.

    Tinetti originally joined SRS as an associate in 2006. Since that time, she has completed more than 150 retail transactions totaling around $300 million.

    Her expertise lies in the entire site selection process, strategic planning, retail development, and multi-market expansions.

    Tinetti earned a degree in business management from the University of San Francisco.



    DALLAS / FT. WORTH

    E Smith Realty Names VP

    Christopher Schafer has joined E Smith Realty Partners as vice president, responsible for expanding and pursuing the firm's national accounts.

    Schafer has 14 years of commercial real estate experience, previously working on the acquisition due diligence team for Behringer Harvard. He started his career as a senior real estate analyst with CoStar Group, later working at Cushman & Wakefield before joining JLL, where he managed leased-administration operations for 32 corporate accounts and maintained a portfolio totaling 35 million square feet.

    Schafer graduated from the University of California in Santa Barbara with a bachelor's degree in law and society, and received his Juris Doctorate from Texas A&M University School of Law.



    CHICAGO

    CBRE Bulks Up Capital Markets Team

    CBRE added James Vozza as the newest member of the firm's capital markets' business lending team.

    Vozza will serve as the vice president of business lending, a unit which focuses on owner-occupied and private capital real estate space. He will be based in Schaumburg and concentrate on the Midwest, primarily the Chicago, Milwaukee and Minneapolis markets.

    Vozza brings with him experience from a 12-year career where he worked to finance $500 million in transactions with EverBank Chicago.

    Vozza graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in finance.



    MEMPHIS

    C&W Commercial Expands Capital Markets Team

    Cushman & Wakefield | Commercial Advisors added Alex Yates to its capital markets group as a vice president, where he will arrange debt, equity and structured finance agreements as well as be involved in investment sales focusing on multifamily and retail property.

    Prior to joining C&W, Yates was with Medalist Capital in Charlotte, NC. He has more than seven years of experience advising clients on debt, equity and structured finance issues, as well as joint-venture equity, construction financing and mezzanine debt.

    Yates earned a finance degree from Wake Forest University where he was a scholarship member of the men's golf team.



    CHICAGO

    SVN Chicago Appoints VP

    SVN Chicago Commercial has named Jennifer Hopkins as a vice president, specializing in the sales and leasing of retail and office space in the north and west Chicago suburbs.

    A 25-year commercial real estate veteran, Hopkins has worked directly with owners and commercial real estate brokers to close more than 200 deals in the last decade alone.

    Prior to joining SVN, Hopkins served as the primary broker for the lender services group and retail services group at NAI Hiffman, closing more than 60 transactions while working as a senior advisor. Hopkins has also served as the director of leasing for new development for GK Development and leasing director for Inland's Western REIT.
