NEW YORK CITY

Bralower Joins Avison Young as Principal

Avison Young has hired John Bralower as principal in the firm's New York City office. In his new role, Bralower will focus on expanding the firm's capital markets and hospitality platforms.

Bralower brings more than 30 years of commercial real estate experience, most recently serving as president of Carlton Group's hospitality practice and managing director of Carlton Advisory Services. He also worked at Sonnenblick-Goldman Company and Houlihan Lokey.

Bralower is a member of the New York State Bar, a fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), and a member of ULI, the Village of Oyster Bay Cove planning board, the North Shore Land Alliance, and the Lincoln Center Corporate Fund Realty and Construction Council.



WASHINGTON DC

TCC Names Principal of Mid-Atlantic Business Unit

Trammell Crow Co. (TCC) promoted Josh Dix to principal of its Mid-Atlantic Business Unit.

Based in Washington, D.C., Dix will oversee acquisition, financing and development for TCC subsidiary High Street Residential mixed-use, multifamily and condominium projects in the region.

Dix has 20 years of experience managing large scale development, construction and finance projects throughout the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia, including his five years with TCC.

Lee & Associates Newport Beach Announces Promotions

Lee & Associates promoted Alton Burgess, Travis Haining, Tim Walker and Matt McKinlay to principal.

Burgess and Haining both specialize in office and R&D / industrial properties between the 55 South to Aliso Viejo. Walker specializes in redevelopment, developing more than 400 acres over his career. McKinlay specializes in land acquisitions and leasing and selling in all asset classes.



LOS ANGELES

Cushman & Wakefield Promotes McDonald to EMD, SoCal Market Leader

Cushman & Wakefield has promoted Andrew McDonald to executive managing director and market leader of Greater Los Angeles and Orange Counties.

In his new role, McDonald will oversee the firm's strategic business objectives in the region, including recruitment and continued growth of the firm's primary business lines, supported by more than 500 professionals in West Los Angeles, DTLA, Orange County and the Inland Empire. McDonald joined the firm in 2001 under its merger with the former Cushman Realty Corporation.



SAN FRANCISCO

Cushman & Wakefield Promotes Lumpkin to Market Leader

Cushman & Wakefield promoted J.D. Lumpkin to market leader for its San Francisco office, where he will oversee operations while continuing his brokerage practice.

Lumpkin is a member of Cushman & Wakefield’s national investor services leasing group, and will continue to lead the firm's investor services council in San Francisco. In his 19 years with Cushman & Wakefield, Lumpkin has leased and sold more than nine million square feet of real estate.

Columbia Property Adds Popper as SVP, Eastern Region

Adam Popper has joined Columbia Property Trust, Inc. (NYSE: CXP) as senior vice president, Eastern Region. He will be based in the firm's New York office and serve on the firm's investment committee, directing investment activity and asset management teams across the Eastern U.S.

Popper most recently served as managing principal and investment committee member at Westbrook Partners. Before that he was the senior vice president and director of U.S. office acquisitions for Vornado Realty Trust, and held similar roles at Beacon Capital Partners and Tishman Speyer Properties. Popper is a member of ULI and ICSC.



SOUTH FLORIDA

Groffman Joins JLL in Miami

JLL has hired Eric Groffman as executive vice president in the firm's Miami, FL office, where he will expand JLL's agency leasing presence in South Florida. Groffman brings with him two high-profile leasing assignments, Miami Tower and Courvoisier Centre, which total more than 1 million square feet in the city's CBD.

Groffman most recently served as senior director at Transwestern, where in addition to directing marketing and leasing of the iconic, 47-story Miami Tower and Brickell Key's Courvoisier Centre, he handled Miami Center and represented a client list that includes Sumitomo, Tishman Speyer, JP Morgan, LaSalle Investment Management, and Parkway Properties throughout his career.



DALLAS / FORT WORTH

Associa Promotes Tricas to Regional VP

Associa has promoted Tosh Tricas to regional vice president. In his new role, Tricas will oversee 13 branch offices across the Southeast. while serving as leader of the firm's division for services and construction, Associa OnCall.

Tricas has worked in community management for more than 25 years, and spent the last four years with Associa. He has been active with the Community Associations Institute for nearly 12 years and earned the CMCA, AMS, and PCAM designations.



LOS ANGELES

McKinney Joins Investment Property Group

Mike McKinney has joined Investment Property Group as a regional vice president. Based in the firm's Torrance, CA office, McKinney will be responsible for dispositions, acquisitions, and facilitating 1031 exchanges for clients in South Los Angeles County.

McKinney was previously at Berkadia for six years as a senior director, and before that spent most of his career at CBRE where he has an extensive transaction history throughout the South Bay area.



HOUSTON

Hicks Joins SRS Real Estate Partners as SVP

Jonathan Hicks joined SRS Real Estate Partners (SRS) as senior vice president and co-market leader in the firm's Houston office.

Hicks has spent more than a decade in the commercial real estate industry. Most recently, he represented national, regional, and local tenants in assessing, planning, and executing market development strategy in Houston as vice president with EDGE Realty Partners, including overseeing Dunkin Donuts entry in to the Houston market.

CBRE Hires Kapcheck as SVP

CBRE has hired former Colliers International principal Jeffery Kapcheck as a senior vice president in the firm's industrial and logistics division in Chicago.

Kapcheck has completed more than $1 billion in transactions over the course of his 25-year career, working on behalf of such clients as US Venture, Clover Technologies Group, Pizzuti, Jason Inc., JP Morgan, Panattoni, Heitman, Hillwood and Domtar. He specializes in tenant representation, built-to-suit projects, new development and property acquisition and disposition.

Colliers International Promotes Six Brokerage Professionals

Colliers International in Greater Phoenix has promoted six brokerage professionals across the region.

Kim Soulé, Brian Woods and Philip Wurth (pictured, right) were promoted to senior vice president. Peter Bauman and Matt Fitz-Gerald were recognized with promotions to vice president, and Greg Guglielmino becomes the company's newest associate vice president.



DALLAS / FORT WORTH

NOVUS Realty Advisors Adds New SVP and VP

NOVUS Realty Advisors has added Nan Li as senior vice president of global investments and Zach Fry (pictured, right) as vice president of investments and land.

Li previously served as project manager for Hilton Worldwide, where he focused on overseeing the company's development projects in China. Her role at NOVUS will involve guiding Asian investors in growing their portfolios. Fry brings veteran experience within the industry dating back to 1984. He will specialize in income investment and land sales within the DFW market.

PREP Expands Investment Sales Team with Three New Hires
