Carlton Hires Managing Directors Gollin & Moss

Mark Gollin and William Moss joined Carlton Group as managing directors. Gollin will run the European advisory group, while Moss will run the residential strategic advisory group.
Gollin has spent the last 16 years in senior positions at Apollo, Lehman Brothers, and Bear Stearns. Moss has also held senior positions at Blackrock, Deutsche Bank, UBS Investment Bank, Credit Suisse, and GE Capital Mortgage Service.
Gollin has been involved in more than $30 billion of Eur-Asian transactions and over $50 billion in transactions worldwide throughout his career. Moss has held control of residential positions ranging from $100 million up to $3 billion on a monthly basis.

Fetterman Joins Colliers in Philadelphia

Joseph Fetterman has joined Colliers International in the Philadelphia office, holding the newly-created title of senior vice president of strategic initiatives.
Fetterman brings more than 30 years real estate experience, with his most recent assignment at Jones Lang LaSalle where he oversaw the firm's regional health care, higher education and public institutions businesses. Previously, Fetterman was a principal with The Staubach Co.

Gallagher Joins Cawley as Executive VP

Timothy E. Gallagher left his own firm, Gallagher Realty Inc., to become executive vice president and sales manager at Cawley Chicago Commercial Real Estate.
Gallagher will specialize in analysis, valuation and business development for the company's corporate and institutional clients. During his career, which has included positions at Darwin Realty Development and Hiffman Schaeffer Associates, Gallagher has been involved in transactions totaling more than 20 million square feet and combined values of more than $1 billion.

CBRE Recruits Christopher as Vice Chairman

Louis G. Christopher joined CBRE as vice chairman.
Christopher will focus on tenant representation on a local, national and global level. He was previously at Cushman & Wakefield where he was chairman of the firm's tenant advisory group, a top producer in the greater Washington region every year since 2007 and one of Cushman's top 10 brokers globally for three of the last four years.

Burns Joins Transwestern as SVP

Transwestern appointed 35-year industry expert Tom Burns as its new senior vice president. He previously held the title of senior director with Cushman & Wakefield.
Burns, who will be based at Transwestern's Columbia, MD, office, specializes in the leasing and selling of commercial real estate both internationally and nationally. His background includes serving investors and developers throughout the Baltimore/Washington metro area.
From 1989-2002, Burns was president of Corporate Facility Advisors (CORFAC) International. He also served as president of the Maryland and Washington chapters of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) from 1993-1996.

Cushman Hires Sorensen as Senior Director

Eric Sorensen joined Cushman & Wakefield of Illinois in Chicago. The industry veteran assumed the role of senior director in the office tenant representation group.
Sorensen has more than two decades of experience, most recently as a vice president at John Buck Co. His specialty is strategic planning, site selection for office uses and technology centers, feasibility studies and executing relocations. Sorensen’s former roles include manager of CoStar’s Midwest office, managing director with The Dow Jones Co. and financial analyst with JMB Institutional Realty.

Gallagher Takes the Lead at Investment Properties

D'Arcy G. Gallagher, CPM joined Investment Properties Inc., a Rockville, MD-based development and commercial real estate firm, as president.
Gallagher was hired on to improve and expand the company's service sectors, including property management, leasing, brokerage and construction management. He assumed the top post after working at Transwestern, formerly Carey Winston Co., where he also served in leadership positions.
