Lee & Associates Names Veteran as Shareholder

Lee & Associates promoted senior associate Mary Kay Bier to shareholder. Bier is a 20-year
commercial real estate veteran who joined Lee’s North San Diego County office three years ago. She focuses on tenant and buyer representation of flex/R&D, industrial, office and retail buildings.

CBRE Adds EVP to Global Corporate Services Unit

Commercial real estate and workplace industry leader Steven Quick joined CBRE Group in Chicago. The new executive managing director will serve in the firm’s global corporate services unit.
Quick has more than two decades of global customer relationship and sales management, business strategy, marketing and finance experience. He was a vice president and general manager for Johnson Controls Global WorkPlace Solutions in the Europe, the Middle East and Africa region. Quick also worked as a senior vice president for EMCOR Facility Services Inc., 10 years at Waste Management Inc. and as a partner at CPA firm Moran, Quick and Associates LLC.

Trammell Crow Promotes Nims

Trammell Crow Co. named Adam Nims leader of the company’s Austin business unit. Nims will oversee the entire business unit throughout Austin and central Texas, including all development and acquisition projects as well as new business pursuits, finance and overall day-to-day operations.
He was previously a principal within TCC’s Austin’s Business Unit as well as a senior vice president with TCC’s Healthcare Initiative in Dallas.
His experience ranges from managing more than 340,000 square feet of medical
office building projects to redevelopment of the former Thomas Green Water Treatment Plant in downtown Austin into a nearly 2 million-square-foot mixed-use development.

Marcus & Millichap Promotes Kunofsky

Marcus & Millichap promoted Glen Kunofsky to executive vice president investments in its New York office.
Kunofsky joined the firm in 2001 and specializes in net-leased investment sales and is also a senior director of the National Retail Group.
