Houlihan Bingen Named New President of Stahl Construction

Stahl Construction has promoted Jessie Houlihan Bingen to president. She will look to develop and implement strategies for long-term company growth and sustainable management while managing the day-to-day operations of the company.

Houlihan Bingen was previously vice president of operations with the firm, and has a background in marketing, communications, consulting, and business.

Houlihan Bingen is a graduate of the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, where she studied environmental sciences, policy, and management with a second major in professional journalism and technical communications. She also graduated from the mini-MBA Executive Program at the U of M’s Carlson School of Management.

Massey Knakal Promotes Palmese to Partner

Stephen Palmese has been named a partner at Massey Knakal, a real estate company that exclusively represents owners and provides brokerage and advisory services across the New York metropolitan area.

Palmese began is real estate career at Massey Knakal when he started as an intern ten years ago. Since then, he has been promoted to associate, agent, and most recently, partner. He has sold more than 200 properties totaling over $1 billion in transactional volume.

Palmese graduated from Georgetown University, where he double-majored in international finance and new and small business management.


Willis Named Principal at KTGY Architecture + Planning

Terry A. Willis, AIA, LEEP AP joined KTGY Group Architecture + Planning as a principal in its Denver office.

A 30-year industry veteran, Willis previously served as a senior architect with Short Elliot Hendrickson, Inc. and as an associate principal at 4240 Architecture, Inc. He has been responsible for the 200 Fillmore repositioning in Denver’s Cherry Creek North and the St. Julien Hotel & Spa in Boulder. He started his career with Skidmore Owings & Merrill in Denver.

Willis is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council, American Institute of Architects, and LEED Accredited Professional. He is a graduate of The Ohio State University.


CBRE Expands Offerings with Technology & Media Practice

CBRE Group bolstered its client capabilities with the formation of its brand new technology & media practice.

Covering the team's New England region will be CBRE veterans Kevin Kennedy and Adam Brinch, who are both coming over from the firm's urban brokerage group where Kennedy currently serves as a first vice president and Brinch as a vice president. The duo will continue to operate from the firm's Boston office.

Both Kennedy and Brinch have extensive experience securing commercial space for clients in the technology and media sectors. Most recently, Kennedy facilitated expansion assignments for some of the fastest growing technology companies in Boston, including Jumptap, Nutraclick, AMP, Localytics and EverFi, while Brinch has worked with technology firms such as InsightSquared, CarGurus, Hopper and RapidMinder to secure space in Cambridge.

Rogers Joins Colliers' Investment Services Team

Scott Rogers has joined Colliers International's Jacksonville investment team as vice president of investment sales. In his new position, Rogers will continue to specialize in investment-grade sales, representing sellers of multi- and single-tenant retail, office, and warehouse properties in greater Northeast Florida.

Rogers launched his commercial real estate career in 1983, working for a number of national firms specializing in real estate appraisals and investment sales.

He obtained a bachelor's degree in real estate and finance from Georgia State University. He is an active member of ICSC, ULI, TMA, and CART, and holds the CCIM and SIOR designations.


Jeffries Joins Johnson Capital

National real estate capital advisory firm Johnson Capital has hired Mark Jeffries as vice president in the Denver office.

In his new position, Jefferies will focus on originating debt and equity financing for commercial properties.

Jefferies previously served as a partner at Aspen 11, a Denver-based real estate development and finance firm. He began his career in the commercial mortgage industry as a real estate analyst, then loan originator, at Essex Financial Group. Over the course of his career, he has helped facilitate the placement of more than $400 million in commercial real estate financing.


St. John Properties Names New VP

Jennifer Sychuk has been promoted to vice president of asset management at St. Johns Properties.

Sychuk has been with St. Johns for 12 years, most recently serving as assistant vice president of finance and asset management. She determines the financial feasibility for all St. John’s acquisitions and dispositions. She also provides financial analysis and valuation activities for the company's assets, which are valued at $2.5 billion.

Sychuk holds a bachelor's degree from Villanova University and a Master's Degree in real estate from the Edward St. John real estate program at the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School. She also earned a certificate in accounting from the University of Baltimore.


Kaufman Joins The Boulder Group

Jordan Kaufman joined The Boulder Group as a vice president.

Kaufman brings more than 10 years of experience in the net-lease industry, arranging more than $500 million in sales. Over the last four years he honed his craft while serving as an executive vice president at Quantum Real Estate Advisors. Before moving to Quantum, he spent six years at Millco Investments as a senior associate.

Kaufman is a graduate of the University of Colorado Boulder. He is a member of CCIM, US Green Building Council, and the LEED Institute.
