CHG Foundation, a California non-profit health plan, has purchased the 87,000-square-foot office and R&D building located at 900 Hitachi Way in Chula Vista, CA for $11.85 million, or approximately $136 per square foot.
The high-image, two-story headquarters facility features a mix of private offices, showroom with raised floor, conference rooms, research and development labs, and warehouse space
. It was built in 2002 and is located in the Eastlake Business Center.
CHG Foundation will move from its current Chula Vista headquarters, taking occupancy of 67,000 square feet at the building and leasing out the remaining 20,000 square feet to Hitachi America, Ltd.
