Carr Workplaces Debuts New Metro Center Location
Executive Office Provider Leases 28,600 SF at 1001 G St. NW

Carr Workplaces, a national provider of flexible workplace solutions, will expand its operations to a new location at 1001 G St. NW in Washington, DC. The 10-year lease will take effect in October and will consist of the entire 8th floor, or 28,597 square feet, at the Washington Center building. The tenant is a provider of executive offices and flexible workplace spaces.
The 12-story building totals 309,600 square feet. The atrium connects directly to the Metro Center station on one side. The building itself has been awarded an Energy Star designation for its efficiency for the past two years. Other tenants in the building include the Computer Sciences Corp., Orbitz and Quadrangle Development Corp., which owns the building.
Both Quadrangle Development and Carr Workplaces were self-represented.
