Carr Properties has secured $57 million in financing for construction of 4500 East West Highway, a 220,000-square-foot speculative
office building with ground floor retail and underground parking a block from the Bethesda Metro station.
The loan was provided by Wells Fargo and obtained on behalf of Carr by Cassidy Turley Senior Managing Director David Webb, Associate Vice President Jamie Butler and Senior Managing Director Phil Mudd.

4500 East West Highway, said to be the first trophy office building to deliver in downtown Bethesda in over a decade, will target LEED Platinum certification. The building with nine-foot finished ceilings and a glass curtain wall will include such amenities as a conference center, fitness center, rooftop terrace and courtyard.
