Avison Young expanded its capital markets business in the New England region with the hiring of three industry veterans. The Boston team gained (pictured from left to right) Michael Smith and Scott Jamieson as principals and Brandon Dickason as a vice president.
The trio previously worked at Jones Lang LaSalle in Boston. The team focused on investment sales, acquisition and financing and closed more than $15 billion in deals since the early 1990s. The group’s client list consists of Blackstone, Archon Group, INVESCO, RREEF, Principal Global Investors, Equity Residential, New Boston Fund and Rockwood Capital. Their transactions of note include One Boston Place, the Sun Microsystems Campus, One Kendall Square and CityPlace I.
“We are fortunate to have Mike, Scott and Brandon on board in Boston to anchor our investment sales and financial business for New England,” said Earl Webb, Avison Young’s president, U.S. operations. “Over the last 20 years, they have built an impressive roster of clients and business that aligns extremely well with our long-term strategy to grow our client base.”
Since 2009, Avison Young has grown from 11 to 40 locations and from 300 to more than 1,100
commercial real estate personnel across Canada and the U.S.
