Caddis Partners, a privately-held national healthcare real estate firm based in Dallas, tapped Jason Hinkel to step in as regional director of development.
In his new position, Hinkel will head up and expand development activities for Caddis in the Southeast region.
A 25-year industry veteran, Hinkel has worked extensively on healthcare development and operations throughout the Southeast with firms such as Cogdell Spencer Advisors, Duke Realty and Flagship Capital Partners.
Hinkel joined the Caddis Atlanta office in mid-April, soon after the firm closed on the 30,578-square-foot foot Piedmont Healthcare-anchored Phoenix Medical Center in College Park, located roughly 10 miles south of downtown Atlanta.
In the last year alone, Caddis transacted more than $100 million in acquisitions and developments - including the 22,865-square-foot Northeast Medical Plaza in San Antonio, the 55,000-square-foot South Texas Medical Clinic in Wharton, TX, and the 69,053-square-foot RiverGate Medical Center in Durango, CO - and started construction on five Heartis senior living communities totaling 390 units across Texas.
