John Latessa Will Tack on Indianapolis, St. Louis and Kansas City to Current Responsibilities in Michigan and Ohio
CBRE Group Senior Managing Director John Latessa will broaden his leadership responsibilities in the Midwest, overseeing Indianapolis, St. Louis and Kansas City, in addition to Detroit and the company's Ohio markets. The three new markets are each led locally by John Merrill, Jeff Kaiser and Mike Klamm, respectively.
As a result of the expanded responsibilities, Latessa will also join CBRE's eastern division executive committee.
Since 2008, Latessa has managed all of CBRE's service lines in Michigan, including brokerage, tenant representation, investment property sales and valuation and advisory services, totaling more than $1.5 billion in service-related activity. In 2012, Latessa's responsibilities were expanded to include the Ohio markets of Columbus, Cleveland and Cincinnati. Today, CBRE is the largest full-service commercial real estate
services firm in Michigan and Ohio.
Before coming to CBRE Detroit in 2007, Latessa held title as a principal and managing director for JFK Investment Co. Additional stops also include serving as an executive vice president at Larson Realty Group and as a project manager and director of marketing for Hines.
Latessa earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Michigan State University and an MBA from Wayne State University.
