CBRE has promoted James Mitchell in its Orlando office to senior vice president. Mitchell has been with the company for 13 years, with a retail focus on site acquisition, disposition and transaction management for national and regional users. Additionally, he represents more than 1 million square feet of retail shopping centers and has overseen several ground-up retail development projects for clients.
Mitchell has been recognized for continued high performance metrics in his specialty based on production numbers, and has retained multi-year representation of numerous national brands in Florida including Kohl's, McDonalds, RaceTrac Petroleum, PGA Tour Superstore, Bank of America, Office Depot, Fifth Third Bank and SunTrust Bank. He is also a member of CBRE's retail advisory council, a global group of hand-picked brokers guiding the overall direction and strategy of the firm's retail services.
"James is richly deserving of this significant company recognition," said Bill Moss, senior managing director, Orlando/Tampa. "Anchoring his success has been his consistent commitment to delivering high levels of customer services to his blue ribbon roster of clients."
