January 19, 2018
CBRE Group, Inc. (NYSE:CBG) has promoted Bill Concannon to the position of global president of the company's global occupier outsourcing business.

Concannon, who became CEO of the the firm's Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) group after CBRE acquired the occupier services platform of Johnson Controls, Inc. (JCI) in 2015, will retain the CEO role while joining two other senior executives holding the title of global group president. Cal Frese is global group president of CBRE's geographic business, and Mike Lafitte serves as global president of the company's services business line.

Bob Sulentic, CBRE’s president and chief executive officer, said Concannon pioneered the occupier outsourcing concept in the CRE brokerage sector in the early 1990s. The business has emerged as one of the fastest-growing segments of the Los Angeles-based global company.

"He has built our Global Workplace Solutions offering into a $6.4 billion revenue business, one that is known for generating exceptional results for our clients," Sulentic said in a statement announcing the promotion.

Both Sulentic and Concannon came to CBRE via its 2006 acquisition of Trammell Crow Co.
