CBRE Group, Inc. has promoted Tim Dismond to executive managing director, global corporate services (GCS) with responsibility for the U.S. Central region and Canada -- the firm's second largest GCS region.
At the same time, Dismond becomes a member of CBRE's GCS and Eastern Division Executive Committees. Based in Kansas City, MO, Dismond will continue serving on the executive board of CBRE's African-American Network Group (AANG).
Dismond joined CBRE in 2008 as an alliance director with the Sprint account, and was promoted to central region director in April 2012, overseeing several client relationships with a portfolio totaling approximately 100 million square feet. Before joining CBRE he held a number of senior management positions within the Spring corporate real estate organization, and he previously practiced law with Polsinelli & Shughart in Kansas City and Fuller & Henry in Toledo, OH.
"Tim has consistently delivered exceptional results, demonstrated principled leadership, and forged highly collaborative relationships with our clients, colleagues, CBRE market leaders and sales professionals, throughout his career," said Jim Wilson, chief operating officer, GCS, CBRE. "We are very fortunate to have Tim assume the leadership of the Central U.S./Canada region."
Dismond received his Juris Doctorate from Indiana University, and his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan.
