John Sauter joined CBRE Global Investors in Los Angeles as a managing director for West Coast acquisitions for the Strategic Partners U.S. team. His responsibilities will include originating, underwriting and structuring West Coast investments and the development of new business opportunities.
Sauter formerly served as a partner with the MSD Capital LP Real Estate Group where he was responsible for sourcing, evaluating and executing transaction opportunities in traditional real estate private equity, public securities, real estate debt and corporate private equity. He has more than 20 years of experience and has worked on transactions valued in excess of $10 billion.
Sauter graduated with a bachelor's degree from Duke University and an M.B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles.
