CBRE Group bolstered its client capabilities with the formation of its brand new technology & media practice, a specialty group comprised of a network of professionals whose main focus is to provide real estate solutions for technology and media companies in the largest markets around the world.
Covering the team's New England region will be CBRE veterans Kevin Kennedy and Adam Brinch, who are both coming over from the firm's urban brokerage group where Kennedy currently serves as a first vice president and Brinch as a vice president.
"Tech and media companies are constantly growing and evolving. It's incredibly important that we understand their cultural needs, employee recruitment and engagement goals, their brand, and broader strategic initiatives that a tailored real estate solution can support. The technology & media practice will help us collaborate across the top 20 U.S. tech and media markets, and internationally, allowing us to advise our clients and participate in technology communities in a collaborative and organized fashion," said Kennedy.
Both Kennedy and Brinch have extensive experience securing commercial space for clients in the technology and media sectors. Most recently, Kennedy facilitated expansion assignments for some of the fastest growing technology companies in Boston, including Jumptap, Nutraclick, AMP, Localytics and EverFi, while Brinch has worked with technology firms such as InsightSquared, CarGurus, Hopper and RapidMinder to secure space in Cambridge.
The pair will continue to operate out of the firm's Boston office.
