Beacon
Investment Properties acquired One City Centre, a 609,000-square-foot, Class A
office building at 1021 Main St. in Houston's central business district. Behringer Harvard was the seller.
This deal closely follows Beacon's purchase of the 560,000-square-foot Ashford office portfolio in the Energy Corridor, which occurred less than 30 days ago.
Renovation of One City Center was completed in 2010. The 31-floor tower recently achieved LEED Gold certification and is currently 84 percent occupied.
Robert Williamson and Jeff Hollinden of HFF listed the property.
