BBVA Sells 726 Acres in West Houston for $9M

ARA Houston Handles Land Trade
April 18, 2012
Houston-based BBVA Compass Bank sold a 726-acre tract in West Houston to a private investor. The land traded for $9 million or $12,397 per acre, according to CoStar information.

“The buyer was a wealthy foreign national looking to park money in an area that he already has considerable land holdings. He plans to hold the site long-term,” said ARA Houston's Tim Dosch who along with David Marshall represented the seller.

This was the third piece of a 1,530-acre tract along Interstate 10 in West Houston to be sold by the ARA Houston-based land team.

The buyer completed the sale within 45 days start to finish, after the deal drew 10 offers.
