Continuing its aggressive expansion across the U.S., Toronto-based Avison Young added PSB Realty Advisors in Columbus, OH to its fold and opened its 39th office outside of Canada.
Scott Pickett, the former president and principal owner of PSB Realty Advisors, was named a principal and managing director of Avison Young's new Columbus office. He will be joined by the other two former PSB Realty Advisors principals, Steve Heiser and Graydon Webb.
The acquisition also adds the 20-story, 225,000-square-foot Key Bank tower in downtown Columbus to Avison Young's leasing and management portfolio.
Pickett formed PSB Realty Advisors in 2008 after serving as vice president at CB Richard Ellis (now CBRE) in Columbus. Prior to joining CB, Pickett spent 11 years with Continental Real Estate Companies as vice president of development and brokerage services. He began his career at The Pickett Companies, serving as job superintendent on construction sites to site selection and financing for new hotels throughout the Midwest and East Coast.
