Avison Young hired retail outlet-center specialists Lisa Quier Wagner and David Hinkle as principals in the firm's Atlanta office.
Wagner and Hinkle will focus on outlet-center strategic direction, marketing and management, as well as provide leasing guidance and tenant advisory expertise. Most recently, the pair worked as partners at Outlet Resource Group, a retail consultancy firm which they owned and founded together.
Wagner brings more than 25 years of experience in outlet center marketing, feasibility assessment and strategic development, and oversight of outlet-center performance. She has overseen the grand openings of more than 45 outlet centers and coordinated the marketing of more than 60 such retail facilities globally. Previously, she was a partner with EWB Development LLC and focused on outlet-center development and turnaround projects across North America. She has worked extensively overseas in Germany, Scotland, Sweden, and France.
Hinkle has 23 years of outlet and retail experience. He previously worked with Wagner at EWB and prior to that spent more than 17 years as president and CEO of National Book Warehouse Inc., where he established the company’s real estate department. During his tenure at National Book Warehouse, he leased in excess of seven million square feet of retail space in more than 42 states. He is an active member of the ICSC and has earned its SCLS designations.
