Anderson Rejoins Wood Partners as Director

Wood Partners welcomes back Deb Anderson
Deb Anderson returned to Wood Partners to serve as director of development for eastern North Carolina and Virginia. In her new role, Anderson will oversee new community development and financing, in addition to asset management for existing communities.

One of the original partners at Wood, Anderson joined the firm in 1998, the same year the company was founded. Her last position at the company was working as director of administration from 2007 to 2010, where she organized national administrative functions. From 1988 to 2007, Anderson served as the director of development for the Raleigh-Durham office, where she oversaw the completion of more than 4,700 units with a net value of more than $475 million.

Anderson began her real estate career with Trammell Crow, working in the firm's Raleigh-Durham office from 1993 to 1997. During that time, she supervised the completion of multifamily communities with a net value of $120 million.

Most recently, Anderson worked as the executive director for the Leonard W. Wood Center for Real Estate Studies and adjunct professor of real estate development at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill's Kenan-Flagler Business School.

Anderson graduated cum laude from Williams College with a bachelor's degree in biology and earned a Master's Degree from the University of North Carolina's Kenan-Flagler Business School, where she was a Richard H. Jenrette Fellow and a Dean's Scholar.
