Avison Young has opened a new office in Greenville, SC through a partnership with Colonial Commercial. This marks the Canadian-based real estate company's third office in the state, and its 52nd office to open in the company's expansion over the past four years.
Reggie Bell, the co-founder of Colonial, joins Avison Young as principal of Greenville operations, and will serve as managing director for the new Greenville office. In his new role, Bell will oversee the growth and development of the company's presence in Greenville, as well as managing the day-to-day operations of the firm.
Bell spent 15 years in commercial construction and development before serving as manager of a regional investment fund in 2004. He specializes in the sale of investment-grade assets, and in addition to co-founder at Colonial, he also served as vice chairman of the Greenville County Planning Commission, and is active in the ULI and ICSC. Bell holds a bachelor's degree in construction science and management from Clemson University.
Also joining the new Avison Young office are: Kyle Putnam, principal and senior vice president; Todd Justice, principal and senior vice president; David Rosenberg, associate; John Odom, associate; John Saunders, associate; Shawn Hammond, associate; and Cort Nagle, associate.
The firm's first South Carolina office opened in May 2012 in Charleston, headed by Chris Fraser as principal of South Carolina operations and Jeremy Willits as managing director of the Charleston office.
