Investor Buys Office/Retail Bldg for $650 PSF

A private investor purchased the office/retail property at 117 Main St. in Huntington Beach, CA, from a private trust for $2.8 million, or about $650 per square foot. The transaction was the buyer's upleg in a 1031 exchange.
The 4,322-square-foot property was fully renovated in 2005 and is 100 percent occupied. It was originally constructed in 1913 as a bank and hotel.
