Dover Relocating NYC HQ to Chicago Suburbs

Company To Consolidate 5 Main Offices; Leases 68,000 SF in Downers Grove

Dover Corp. signed a deal that will move is global headquarters from New York City to the Chicago suburbs. The manufacturing firm leased 67,962 square feet at 3005 Highland in Downers Grove. Dover will also consolidate four of its regional headquarters in addition to its corporate offices to the single facility by next summer.

Investcorp International Inc. and Broadway Partners Fund Manager LLC own 280 Park Ave. W, a 799,456-square-foot, 41-story office building in the Plaza District of Manhattan that currently houses Dover’s main office.

Opus North Corp. owns Highland Landmark V, a 250,545-square-foot, Class A office building that delivered last year. Its is part of the East-West Corridor and is about 23.5 miles west of Chicago. Dover will join DeVry University, which occupies more than 190,000 square feet, in the eight-story building.

Robert Sevim, Jon Azulay and Joseph Learner of Studley represented Dover. Gary Fazzio of CB Richard Ellis and Grady Hamilton of Opus North represented the landlord.
