SYSCO Purchases 547,000-SF Facility in Islip

SYSCO Corp. acquired the industrial facility at 199 Lowell Ave. in Central Islip, NY, from the Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co. for an undisclosed amount.

The 547,335-square-foot distribution building was built in 1967 in the Hauppauge Industrial submarket.

Frank Frizalone with Cushman & Wakefield of Long Island represented SYSCO. Philip Heilpern, David Zelinski and Robert Gibson of CB Richard Ellis represented the seller.
