Steeplechase Shopping Center Changes Hands

Shreer Partnership Interests acquired the Steeplechase Shopping Center at 10701-10951 Jones Road in Houston from Weingarten Realty Investors for an undisclosed sum. The assessed value in 2008 was $14.45 million.

Built in 1982, Steeplechase Shopping Center totals 194,000 square feet and is currently about 76 percent leased. The center is anchored by 99 Cent Only and Palais Royal, and falls in the Jersey Village Retail submarket.
