Apple REIT Nine Inc., a Richmond, VA-based hotel real estate investment trust led by Glade M. Knight, acquired three hospitality properties for $40.95 million, or approximately $115,352 per room.
The 355-room portfolio includes a Homewood Suites, Courtyard Marriott and Hampton Inn & Suites in North Carolina, California and Texas.
Here’s a look at the portfolio:
- Memphis, TN-based Cooper Hotels sold the 112-room Homewood Suites at 8340 N. Tryon St. in Charlotte, NC, for $5.75 million, or about $51,339 per room.
- Valencia, CA-based Ocean Park Hotels Inc. sold the 140-room Courtyard Marriott Santa Clarita in Valencia for $22.7 million, or nearly $162,143 per room.
- Second Century Investments, of Plano, TX, sold the 103-room Hampton Inn & Suites in Allen for $12.5 million, or approximately $121,360 per room.
