Sunway Hotel Group acquired the building at 8500 College Blvd. in Overland Park, KS, from Brooke Insurance for $2.4 million, or about $170 per square foot. The firm plans to occupy half of the building in about three months. The other half of the building is available for lease.

The property is a one-story, 14,140-square-foot office building built in 1980 in the College Boulevard submarket. It was completely renovated within the last two years.

Mary Riley-Cheek and Michael Mayer of Colliers Turley Martin Tucker represented the seller, while James Gates of Kessinger/Hunter & Co., L.C. represented the buyer.
