A group of private investors sold the 50,838-square-foot hospitality building at 42200 Moonridge Road in Big Bear Lake to Stan Lee of Skyland Oceans LLC for $7.75 million or $96,875 per room.

The Best Western Big Bear Chateau is a full-service, 80-room hotel between Bear Mountain and Snow Summit Ski Resorts. Rooms include oversized bathrooms, fireplaces and some offer Jacuzzis. The hotel includes a restaurant called Mandolin Bistro.

This was a private transaction and no brokers were involved.
