Seven-time Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong partnered with agent Bill Stapleton and business manager Bart Knaggs to form CSE Realty Partners, a real estate investment firm in Austin, TX, that targets office, industrial, retail and multitfamily acquisitions in central Texas. Former Trammell Crow Co. exec Lance Sallis will head the privately held company along with Patrick Jeffers, another former exec from TCC.
Sallis, an office and industrial specialist and 20-year industry veteran, spent more than seven years in high level positions at TCC in Austin, most recently as managing director, before leaving the firm in March. Jeffers was an NFL wide receiver for seven years and was part of the Super Bowl XXXII winning Denver Broncos team before joining the commercial real estate world. He earned his MBA in 2005 and was most recently a vice president at TCC.
Armstrong, Stapleton and Knaggs have formed at least 20 other business ventures together over the last 15 years, including partnerships in two hotels, a live music events production company, a sports energy drink and education funding.
