The United States Patent and Trademark Office pre-leased a total of 168,468 square feet at 2800 S. Randolph St. in Arlington, VA.
The agency will occupy floors three through nine and a portion of the second floor in the nine-story office building when the 10-year lease commences in March 2009.
Known as Randolph Square, the 202,234-square-foot building is under construction and scheduled to deliver in April. It will feature eight floors of office space, with retail space on the ground floor. The property is located in the Village at Shirlington development in the I-395 Corridor submarket.
Joshua Masi and Matt Bundy of Transwestern, along with Doug Olson and Bethany Allen of Monument Realty, handled the deal in-house for the landlord, a joint venture of Monument Realty and Transwestern Investment Co. Julie Rayfield, Mett Miller, Rick Barnett and Todd Valentine of Studley represented the tenant.
