L.A. County Board Signs $11M, 10-Year Lease

County Offices Move to 37,684 SF in World Trade Center

The Auditor-Controller, Chief Information Office and Affirmative Action Compliance departments of Los Angeles County will move into 37,684 square feet of office space in the World Trade Center Building in Los Angeles. The Board of Supervisors of Los Angeles County signed a 10-year lease deal for a blended rental rate of $29.40 per square foot annually, with fixed annual increases for the term of the lease, including 150 parking spaces. A little less than $600,000 in tenant improvement dollars were included in the base rental rate, with the remaining allowances to be borrowed through the lease as needed. The deal is valued at more than $11 million for the entire lease term.

Jamison Services Inc. owns the 370,209-square-foot, Class B office building at 350 S. Figueroa St. in the heart of downtown Los Angeles. Built in 1975, the 10-story building is on more than 3.6 acres.
