Panera Bread will be the anchor retail tenant in the new Sun Trust Plaza building, a 13-story, 340,000-square-foot office building currently under construction at 401 Commerce St.

The restaurant will occupy 6,000 square feet on the corner of 5th Street and Commerce Street. It will be open for all three meals and provide catering services to tenants in the building. The restaurant will have both indoor and outdoor seating.

Other retail tenants scheduled to occupy the building include a retail branch of Sun Trust Bank and a Health Club. Office tenants include Sun Trust Bank and the law firm of Stites & Harbison. Sun Trust Plaza will open in December 2007.
