The Innovation Center in West Lafayette's Purdue Research Park has completed construction and has opened its doors to EDS, a national software company affiliated with HP.
Innovation Center at 3400 Kent Ave. is an 80,000-square-foot flex building. EDS will occupy 45,000 square feet and plans to create more than 200 software engineer and business analyst jobs. Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels, along with several other state and local government officials and Purdue Research Foundation Senior Vice President Joseph B. Hornett, worked together to bring EDS to the region.
Purdue Research Park provides space to approximately 160 companies and encompasses 725 acres.
