Wells Real Estate Funds sold the Louis Rose Place office building in Charlotte to local company Environmental Services of Charlotte for $2.1 million, or about $30 per square foot. The building will be renovated to the highest level to qualify for LEED certification, which will include solar panels and sophisticated monitors of real-time energy performance.
The property at 1000 Louis Rose Place, at the University Research Park, is a 70,752-square-foot office structure that is on about 9.5 acres. The building was built in 1986 and has about 280 parking spaces.
